LATE EDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!

 

As a someone who has been in the photography business for some time now I have seen my fair share of the good the bad and the ugly. While I love being good, and being bad can be fun at times as well depending on the task at hand being ugly is never nice.

This is why I am starting The Philadelphia Photography Awards.
These Awards will honor local photographers and videographers and the work they have created. I have always believed that photography will outlive us all, and because of this it should be used to UPLIFT rather than tear down. Look for the beauty in your subject. The world is ugly and harsh enough.  My dreams are always HUGE so I envision red carpets and limos and miles and miles of paparazzi, when in fact that we may just end up at North Bowl having a few beers and some awards. Either way it will be a great night.

 

I have already started working on the behind the scenes things such as Logo, web, location scouting, and some other goodness.  Here are some of the things you need to know:

We will accept nominations in the following categories.

•Portraits- this will cover a wide range of topics then be narrowed down depending upon this amount of submitted images.
•Independent film
•Film Photography
•Food photography
