You Mission:
Set Your Money Goals
If your business is not making enough profit, you are not running a business. You are running a charity!
Are you ready to turn this around? Are you ready to value your own time and effort? Then ask yourself the following questions:
- My desired monthly salary is: At the moment my monthly salary is:
- It´s my goal to reach my dream income on this date:
- I want to start charging/raise my fee, because:
- The number one reason I´m not charging enough money for my photography work is…..(lack of skills, afraid that no one will book me, that clients will go to cheaper photographers, afraid to disappoint clients/friends/family?):
- Ask yourself this question… I have this fear is because…..(self-doubt is my middle name, I´m so new in the photography industry and I don´t feel ready to start charging, I don’t want to lose gigs..whatever your reason WRITE IT DOWN
- How sure can I be that raising my price will be the problem, that it will scare costumers away and ruin my business? What if that rasing my prices won’t be bad at all? Maybe it would cause me and my work stand out as something valuable and attract more clients?
- If I charged my desired rate without any fear at all ( without fearing that costumers might run away), how would that change my life, my way of working, and my way of seeing myself? Would it be easier for me to charge a higher fee if…..(I had more confidence, more training, better knowledge in marketing, etc.) And what steps can I take this week to improve this situation?
- The time you truly spend on one client from start to finish is……(hours, days?) Be honest and realistic if you need to start tracking this then do it! (Get your phone out download a timer app or use the clock phone on and track your damn time!) When I compare my fee with the hours I spend, my hourly payment is: Are you happy with that……? From today on you will begin to will begin to value your TIME spent on each client and you will value the time spent away from your family while you am working. Therefore, make these changes in your business during the coming month: 1: 2: 3: Even though you may be scared, make the changes anyway.
