It’s that time of year again when we as parents wrap up our end-of-summer activities and start planning our back-to-school events. There are so many emotions that circle around this event for both parents and kids. It can be both a VERY exciting, yet scary time for children of any age.
For many kids, the excitement is short lived because they don’t have their basic needs met when it comes to back-to-school supplies. September has always held a special place in my heart, as I was raised by two parents who worked in factories to put me and my sister through Catholic school. Because of our circumstances, we never took education for granted, and I want to make sure that my business has the opportunity to give other kids that same feeling. So to help, my team and I are holding our second annual Portraits and Packs Photo sessions. Bring a new backpack and some school supplies for a child in need, and each child you bring will get 20-minute session at $75 with a 5 x 10 story board and easel.
