Having a workspace that allows you to work freely and to think creatively, will totally improve your workflow. Each setup can play an important role in helping you finish your work successfully. Here are some simple tips that can assist you in setting up a stylish and cozy home office to help you do  your best as a creative entrepreneur.

First of all, you need to clean and organize the area where you are going to work. Disorganization and clutter can be a constant battle in your workspace, if you do not have a system to manage it. Clean the desktop of anything you do not use or need anymore. It´s a good ideas to set up a time each week/month where you are going to clean.

Choose your office tools and accessories carefully

It is very important for a creative person to be surround by her favorite tools. It can help put your creative mind in the right mood. Your ideal workspace has to be as creative as possible in order to mine your brain for golden ideas. Keep/store samples of your work, design, and artworks. Hang inspirational wall posters, photography, and quotes that will motivate you through visual encouragement. Keep around cool/fancy gadgets like pencil sharpeners, rubbers, paperclips, and pens.

If possible choose a quiet area for your workspace

Go through every room in your home and ask yourself whether a workspace could be integrated into the space. The room you select should be comfortable and provide you with good vibrations and lovely light.

Get a very comfortable chair

Often I´m in my office chair between 8-12 hours a day, editing, writing lessons and blogging, and it might be the same case for you. You do not have to end up with a backache. Your back is very important as you use it a lot as a photographer – so take good care of it.

Remember that your workspace is your living space for much of your day, so make it livable and not just workable.

Personalize it, make it a reflection of you personality . Photographs are an easy way to personalize your space, it can also remind you that you are not alone. Add plants, my friend Melanie was the one who told me about this and ever since I’ve felt a huge difference whenever I work in my homeoffice! I also add  fresh flowers for a pop of color  they are a great way to add life to a workspace; adding a kind of plant can reflect your personality and give your new energy. I also love to adding a lamps and candles – especially during winter they because they help elevate mood and help me get through the day . I also keep a running Spotify playlist going in the background of your favorite music so you can reduce stress or revitalize your energy.

Create a personal work-space YOU love to work in – don´t create it to impress anyone.

Create it for your eyes and mind only!
