In this era of Instagram-documented meals, it seems as though everyone feels like a food photographer. With its vast landscape of filters and across-the-table angles, are you eager to learn the true artistry of photographing food and conveying just how wonderful your meal is?
In this three-session food photography class, former Philadelphia Inquirer Photographer and foodie Wanda Thomas will guide you through the styling, shooting, and eating of amazing dishes in a professional context. We’ll have 2 in studio lessons and then take it to the streets, so to speak with the final week in a real restaurant so you can see how to get quality food shots ‘on location’.
You’ll receive access to a private Facebook where you and the rest of the attendees can dish after the workshop on any other question you may have, there will be guest speakers from the photography, blogging and restaurant industry to help you keep up with current trends in all areas food photography. You’ll receive access to downloads and priority access to any upcoming in-person and online workshops as well.
Workshop fee is $275 per person +60 food fee and is limited to 8 people. The workshop fee covers all food and alcohol cost. Participants MUST be 21 or over with valid ID since there will be alcohol served.
