Golden Harper, the founder of Altra running company paid a visit to Bryn Mawr Running Company this past Monday night. Golden developed a style of running shoe that just works. I have always said that I was/AM going to run a marathon. Well after photographing the Broad Street run this past May and meeting Golden I am convinced that running can be easy and done with minimal to no injury, if you are starting with the right shoe. While listening to him I tried the shoes on, right then I knew that this was going to work for me. As someone who already spends a lot of time on my feet having a wider toe box and and zero drop to allow for more support in my feet not only made sense but felt really good too.
