It’s been a busy year:
- photographing weddings,
- An anchor podcast
- I let go of working on the weekends unless it’s a wedding.
- I’ve committed to writing more content on my site
- I’ve started a Facebook group
- And I’ve committed to more self-care time.
- I started a Self Care Challenge on my other site Dinner With the Wife
- AND I WROTE A BOOK.
2017 was a year of growth, reflection, and learning. I learned that I am a damn good Photographer, I provide a lot of value and that what I charge is fair. I learned that I need to tune out the noises of the world and focus on me.
This year my kids get home from school a lot earlier (4pm vs the 6pm they got home last year) so I’ve also learned that I need to embrace things like Meal Planning so that I can have more productive days. I’ve learned so I don’t overbook myself, I use tools to make life easier I purchased The Ultimate Meal Planner bundle and it was a huge help. I get to work more effectively because and use all of the hours in my day with this program, pantry list, Sunday meal preps and lunches for the kids. This has it all.
I work from home but also spend a lot of my time networking and building a strong referral base, plus I hate cooking. So anything that I can use to make my work-life balance easier is awesome
