So last week my friend Jeff Gibbard gave his online dating presentation.Now I’ve been married for almost 10 years and Jeff’s information was timeless. I won’t give it away. BUT I will say this, one of his points was to stop undervaluing your online presence with bathroom or car selfies. PLEASE STOP THIS SELF-DEFEATING ACT. No one wants to know what your bathroom looks like and it just leads to thoughts of you, unwashed hands and a bunch of other unpleasant things! So anyway, we took a few of the attendee and gave them the option to get a headshot and use that as their online presence for a while. These are the new photos! Nothing fancy, just the wall in the conference center bounced flash and manual settings on my Canon 6D.I guided the attendees on how to pose and had them make adjustments to their wardrobe before taking their photographs. Simple enough. Oh yeah, we talked too! It wasn’t all about me barking orders. I gave easy to remember tips on HOW to pose and dress for their next Headshot photo as well.
