A mom, wife, and business owner

Glamour

On the first Friday of every month 50 or so women get together for lunch. Well on the surface it looks like lunch but its so much more than that. These women gather to share laughter, support each others businesses, uplift when needed. Yesterday was one such day, we gathered at the Paramour Restaurant located inside the Wayne Hotel, all 50 of us refreshed from the holidays and glad to be back with our friends. We enjoyed a delicious lunch while everyone gave their 30 second elevator pitch about their businesses.

I make it a point to meet one new Fem member every time I attend these events. Today I met a woman who was stunning. And after speaking with her I was just amazed, she’s one of those people that you just want to be friends with and have coffee with every Friday morning. I was telling her about my upcoming Boudie Sessions for Valentine’s Day. She was so shy, almost turned red as we spoke about it.

Now here’s the thing. When people, women, hear the word BOUDOIR they think naked flesh. Its not about getting naked, although you can if you want. Its more about empowerment, feeling beautiful with and about your body. Its about a confidence that only you have and a control that you maintain. With all of these attributes comes a sexiness that only you own. I tell women that first you need to dress for your body type and accentuate the parts of you that YOU LOVE! Got nice legs from running a 13.1 half marathon let’s show them. Love your eyes we can let them be your focus. It’s not about showing anything that makes you uncomfortable Boudoir is all about giving you Power to be sexy, whatever that means to you.
