Mommy and Me

Oh how I love a single mom. she works tirelessly to bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan, all the while making sure her baby has her homework done, her uniform is pressed, and her hair is neat. I don’t care what year it is the same fundamentals of parenthood are at the same feed the babies and the grow up to strong productive members of society. And by feed I mean, feed their souls, feed their minds, feed their hearts. Give them what they need to grow.

This session was special for me on many levels first the client is a family member, she is my cousin and someone whom I have not had contact with in years. He father is my most favorite uncle and like a second father to me. (he taught me how to shave my legs at the age of 12 and how to make rice as my first real dish) So when she called and asked for a session I cleared my calender for her and her beautiful daughter. She shared her story on how she became a single mom and I gained even more respect for her.

You can see the love she has for J and vise versa and this girl is going places. I promised myself I would keep in touch. Family First!
