When I lost my job 5 years ago I was introduced to the world of networking by a sister Photographer who I met online. She lived in the area and recommend I attend a group lunch. It was at one of these lunches where I met Sara Rosenberg founder of PowerMatch. Sara’s pitch was easy she HATED networking which is why she created PowerMatch. I thought well hell I am new to this and need to understand EVERYTHING I can about networking, including why someone would hate it. Up until now it seemed like a lot of fun.
Remember I was coming from the world of 9-5er’s and had never networked before.
So I took the leap contacted her and we talked. Sara told me all about PowerMatch, the concept, the small meeting size the intimacy of it all.

At the time I joined the group dynamics were different, we met as a group at a predetermined place, Sara would HD small workshops usually about optimizing your LinkedIn account then we would break off into our PowerMatch sessions.

I don’t know how she does it is but Sara is a genius at marching people. In the 3 years I’ve been a member i have had 2 not so great matches.

•Its designed to fit your schedule, usually taking place in the timeframe of a coffee date.
•The members in the online forum are COMPLETELY supportive and honest.
•The monthly membership fee is about a $1 a day Less than a cup of coffee (trust me I know something about the price of beans!)

•The summer months are slow and you will still pay your monthly payment. (Sara has a new program for that, don’t worry)
