Productivity Tips – WFHM Life

business· Develop

I recently submitted a few tips to a someone asking for productivity Tips when working from.. I wanted to share them with you as well because as a photographer and mom I’m feeling the summer pressure with my kids home and trying to balance things lately. But I’ve found that remembering to keep my list and a schedule in place for marketing, networking and even working out it’s not that hard to get back on track.  My business runs on a camera and laptop so I can work from anywhere that has WiFi. So as long I as keep focused on my schedule I am sure to be productive.

Take a look at my list and feel free to comment with any you want to add.

• Keep a list of your top 5 MUST DO tasks for the day, staying focused on your top incoming producing tasks is always key.

•Take breaks. I like to work in 40/20 segments: 40 minutes of work 20 minute breaks. This works for me because I can get a whole photo session done in one block of time but you can adjust it to your needs. Some people like to mix it up with house work this way some other task is getting completed too. Do whatever works best for your lifestyle.

•Eat and stay hydrated. Your body need fuel so before you hit your desk grab some water and something healthy to nosh on so you can focus. Nothing’s worse than a wondering mind.
