Having a baby is a LIFE CHANGING event. My own children are 3 weeks shy of being 2 years apart. When I was pregnant, because my pregnancies were so close together it felt like I was pregnant for years! And while being a mom is wonderful it’s not lost on me that there are some women who can not or struggle to even have children. So when Ashley and her husband contacted me to document their Maternity Session and they shared their story this was something I knew I had to do.
She explained that she wanted rainbow smoke bombs and why this was significant to them. While I loved this idea I also knew that it was going to take A LOT of work and the cost was not something I wanted to impose upon this lovely couple. So I found a way to give them what they wanted, keep cost low and produce a final product that we were all happy with.
The decision to become a parent is MONUMENTIOS! Children change your life, the are a gift to us from a a higher power. We are entrusted with these little people to guide them, instill values, LOVE, and provide for. These children did not ask to be here, WE decided to have and bring them into this world. And from the day we learn we are going to be parents we begin to question every action and decision we make.
I am so proud to be a mom to Maddie and Cris, they amaze me everyday and I am sure that Ashley will be just as proud of her baby when she arrives.
