On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, local nonprofit Mercy Neighborhood Ministries held its annual Mercy Awards. This year they honored PHDC as their honoree. In attendance was the Mayor of Philadelphia Mayor Jim Keeney he gave a speech about the effects of early childhood education on children and how these 2 agencies have made such an impact on the lives of the families in Philadelphia. I was honored to be part of a great night. Mercy recently opened a 2nd location in Germantown at 123 E. Price Street.
