Tracking your time and projects

affiliate

In my slow seasons, I handle social media for a few clients and I often hear from other bloggers who do the same type of work that they have a hard time tracking their project hours when it comes to task like this. I use Freshbooks for my regular invoicing and it found that the time tracking options built in have been one of the best features because it allows me, well to track my project hours and bill them to my client(s) when the project is done. If I forget to start the timer that is built into Freshbooks I can add a bulk amount of time when I am done without missing a beat. You can add details of your projects, what you’re working on, like design work, emails, social media updates, editing etc so your client can have a detailed invoice of your time and YOU can see what task take up a bulk of your day.    I currently have 4 projects open (I bill on the 15 and 30th of the Month) it’s so easy to track because Freshbooks lays them out for you in a neat and organized square format.

Easily generating an invoice from the hours logged in FreshBooks time tracking software
