Over this past Winter break, I started building my tween portfolio. I LLLOOOVVVEEE this age group. Often professional Portraits outside of the traditional family session are often overlooked for this age group because they get school portraits taken every year. But when I met Becca, an 8th-grade student who is active in music and theater through her Mom Mindy, (who is also featured in this post) she mentioned she wanted headshots for her play and recitals auditions and wanted something better than school portraits. I was so over the moon EXCITED that she had this mindset because I know so many adults who don’t understand this philosophy. So she came into the studio with her BFF Sami, we played some music and had a blast! These girls were full of energy, and life. They make photography fun. The thing about this age is they don’t know they CAN’T do something. And everything they do they LOVE and they put their heart and soul into. And THAT is what makes this a tough age group, they are determined where we as parents call them stubborn they are simply UNSTOPPABLE. So take a look the results are below.
