This post is inspired by my friend Surea of Sure Messenger Solutions We have been working together for about a month to get her family portraits scheduled, but they are a rather large family so I am taking a very modern approach to this and using every tech tool I can. The lesson I learn is that this is a problem for many families and I had to start thinking out side the box to give my clients
So the holidays are quickly approaching and everyone wants to get family portraits with all of the out of town members that are expected to arrive. The thing is no one can agree to a time, date, place…You get the idea and what happens January shows up and another holiday season passes without a Family Portrait.
I have, what I hope is going to help you solve this issue. Everybody loves getting an invitation to an event so what I have done is created the Family Portrait Party. You and I sit down and discuss who, what, where, when, and how this event is going to take place. My studio in Old City, Your home, or some stunning out door location. I gather everyone’s contact information (phone number, email whatever) this is so they can get the invite, I design a custom invite for your family and send it out to all of the members via email or text. They will be required to RSVP by a set date and that’s it. The day of the event I will have coffee, tea, wine and water along with an assortment of cupcakes (gluten free is also an option .) And we shoot! Within 2 weeks everyone will receive a link to the slide show and Virtual Session Premiere which is your Red Carpet Event to view your Images the how you can all place your orders.
